symptoms

Posted in Group:

I'd like feedback on whether or not anyone who has fibro has the following symptoms. Please feel free to comment.
1) my first symptom begins with flushing(dry) that extends from chest to top of head. bright red and very hot. then the heart palpitations begin. next extreme abdominal cramping which may last from half an hour to a week. depends.then I begin the sensation that I'm going to pass out. I never do, but always get really close. then it leads it to explosive diarrhea. These symptoms will all happen in a sequence and leave together as well.
2) does your chest feel like you are working at half capacity. deep cough that sounds horse like

I do not have fibromyalgia, but these symptoms do seem to warrant a thorough checkup!

Update... I had some blood work done, won't go into full details of what they were, BUT i was specific in my request. Unfortunately my dctr had other plans... and the lab workers did too. So now I have to go have more blood work done. I have asked for a chest xray as well, considering I sound like a steam engine. I am hoing he will consider redoing the urine test which checks for carcinoid syndrome, because with the research I've done it always comes back to carcinoid syndrome.Needless to say I'm frustrated.

Hi Bowen, I just saw your last post - I am sorry. Your tummy issues are RIGHT ON TARGET. I have a handicap pass because there are times I have to stop and get to the bathroom immediately. It was thru my tummy issues that I learned I had Fibro because even though I have all the symptoms of Chrohns, the tests came back no. This is going to sound strange, but I take 30mg of oxycodone a day (10 mg each time) It takes care of the "explosions", most of the pain and the anxiety. Problem is I feel guilty for taking it. Please let me know how it goes - I promise to check back soon.
